Sony has recently reported in a tweet that Remote Play users will now be able to use their PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers to play PlayStation games on iOS devices.
Sony's Remote Play allows anyone with a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 to play their games remotely on other devices, as long as they meet the criteria and are using compatible hardware. Using the free Remote Play app, users can stream compatible PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games to their devices, switch between games, and view both the Home Menu and console settings across a wired internet connection.
For those who are looking to play PlayStation games remotely on their iOS devices, they need to ensure that they're using an Apple device running on iOS 12.1 or higher. However, to use a DualSense controller, users must have a device running iOS 14.5 or higher. The DualSense controller is the newest controller from Sony, released alongside their latest home console, the PlayStation 5.
