Genshin Impact (Free) has been getting a ton of new content through regular updates. The most recent major update brought in a brand new map expansion and more. Read about it here. After recently bringing out a new story quest and banner for Ganyu, miHoYo have announced Genshin Impact 1.3 features including some long overdue ones like controller support. In the developers discussion for January 19th, miHoYo revealed that pre-installation for updates is coming to iOS and Android with details to be revealed soon on how this works. The highlight for the Genshin Impact 1.3 update for me is controller support for iOS 14. This includes support for the Xbox and PS4 controllers with partial support for MFi controllers. Watch the newest trailer for Genshin Impact below:

The Genshin Impact 1.3 update will also let players hold down a button to increase or decrease the amount consumed while enhancing. More details for balance related changes and other changes are here. I can’t wait for Genshin Impact 1.3 to arrive so I can get back to playing it on iPad with my Xbox controller. If you’re interested in checking Genshin Impact out, you can download it on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here for free. The PC version is available on the official website here. It is just under 17GB on PC. If you want to play across different platforms, read this. We featured Genshin Impact as our Game of the Week when it released and awarded it our 2020 Game of the Year. Have you been playing Genshin Impact regularly since release?
